Barke Baker Construction Story

The Barke Baker Construction story starts with two apprentices grafting hard and learning a trade through the City & Guilds scheme, crafting our skills together as joiners, developing a mutual passion for attention to detail and quality of delivery. In those days training programmes such as City & Guilds was a four-year apprenticeship that exposed you to all the fields of construction, from new house building to refurbishments of large listed buildings and barn conversions. A solid foundation for what was to form later in our careers.

Applying our knowledge separately for various construction companies our paths were to cross once again. It was at this point we connected through an understanding that by joining forces we could deliver construction that exceeded customer expectations.

Thus, Barke Baker Construction was born.
We knew that working again together utilising our skill set, knowledge and experience we could provide construction services of the highest degree. During our journey, we had both identified contractors with a similar passion that could be handpicked to support our quest for quality.

Today Barke Baker Construction has developed a reputation for delivering quality build projects in the Cheshire and Greater Manchester areas such as commercial construction, residential construction, new builds, refurbishments, and conversions and extensions, on time, on budget and to a very high-quality level.
